Zuzanna Skalska
Zuzanna Skalska has been a trendwatcher for over a dozen years, predicting trends and phenomena in various industries. Presented with numerous prestigious awards in the design world, she is co-founder and international ambassador of the School of Form.
Born in Warsaw, she lived in the Netherlands for over 23 years. Zuzanna Skalska studied at Design Academy Eindhoven and the Royal Academy of Art and Design in Den Bosch. After graduating in 1998, she began her career as a Sensorial Trend Analyst in the strategy department of Philips Design, where, among others, she was a team member of the revolutionary Ambient Intelligent Project. From 2001, for over 13 years, she worked for the most prominent Dutch design studio VanBerlo in Eindhoven, where she was responsible for the constant monitoring of trends in various industries.
Currently, she works under her own brand – 360 Inspiration. Its clients are both large global corporations and smaller companies. She lectures at the TU/e University in Eindhoven at the Faculty of Industrial Design and Parsons The New School for Design in New York. She is the author of a series of books on trends – 360˚ Trend Reports, awarded with the 2009 Red Dot Design Award. In addition, she is the author of the 360inspiration.nl blog. Zuzanna Skalska is invited as a jury member of various international competitions on innovation and design.
